What exactly is Ginsu Knives?  The knives came out in the 1970s selling over three million Ginsu Knives in the first six years since it came out. That’s an amazing number, especially back then.  This isn’t a blog about the history of Ginsu Knives, so let’s stop there. I got a Ginsu knife set for Christmas last year from my mother and I’ve been in love with it ever since.

I’ve been using the Ginsu knife set my mother gave me everyday since I got it as a gift and it’s still as sharp as I first got it! I couldn’t believe how easy it chops everything. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I love cooking again thanks to these knives. Chopping onions, carrots,  red pepper, mincing garlic and much more. All of this is done effortlessly!

The thing I like most about the Ginsu knife set is they came out of the box sharp and are ready to use right away. There is no need to sharpen the knives. Also, the knives are pretty light which people think is a bad thing,  but I’ve used another brand (can’t say the brand because I’ll get in trouble) and they are heavier than the Ginsu Knives brand and they aren’t as sharp. It doesn’t matter if you’re new or a advanced chef, these knives are great for anyone and everybody.

If I do decide to get another knife set, I’m definitely getting another Ginsu knife set because it has worked so well for me. I got mines at Amazon since it’s the only online website I trust when purchasing items on the internet.
